Inflation in OECD countries slowed to 1.2 percent in October
In the member states of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), the annual growth rate of consumer prices was 1.2 percent in October after 1.3 percent in September.
In October, the fall in energy prices accelerated to 7.7 percent from 6.5 percent in September, while the rise in food prices was the same as in September, at 3.6 percent.
In OECD countries, inflation excluding food and energy prices was 1.6 percent in October, after 1.7 percent in September. (MTI)
