The NGM launches a labor safety campaign for agricultural workers
The Ministry of National Economy (NGM), in cooperation with the National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) and the Szent István University, is launching a two-year national labor safety campaign focusing on the safety of agricultural work, Cseresnyés Péter, Minister of State announced at a press conference in Budapest on Monday.
The Minister of State underlined that after the campaign, they want to increase the efficiency and frequency of the OSH inspections. They would like to improve the 2017 and 2018 statistics, as last year there were 18 deadly accidents in agriculture, and this year 7. Agriculture is one of the most dangerous sectors. (MTI)
