NFM’s consumer protection control found problems at six out of 59 teaching tools
The National Consumer Protection Control ordered by the National Development Ministry (NFM) controlled color pencils, crayons, tempera, water colors and pen holders, and six of the 59 controlled products did not meet the requirements, NFM told MTI on Friday.
The Consumer Protection Authority has taken steps to remove the inadequate sets of temperature kits, pen holders and color pencils from the stores’ shelves and recall the products from the buyers.
According to the announcement, three of the nine pen holders contained harmful toxic softeners, two of the ten tempera sets’ green and blue paints had a higher copper content than allowed. (MTI)
