MVI’s statistical situation report on catering is now available

Every year, the Magyar Vendéglátók Ipartestülete (MVI) publishes its statistical situation report on hospitality, which is now available on the website of the industry association.

The report was also prepared this year by Károly Zerényi, MVI’s presidential adviser, using statistical data published by the KSH. From the situation report for the year 2023, you can find out, among other things, the development of the number of catering shops, the change in the volume of catering traffic, as well as employment and earnings data, as well as the VAT rates applicable to catering services in a European comparison.
