According to the MNB, the economy will regain its 2019 performance by the end of the year
The Hungarian economy may regain its 2019 performance by the end of 2021, after GDP growth is expected to approach 6 percent this year – the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB) told MTI in its latest flash report, published on Thursday.
It was emphasized that the Hungarian economy performed significantly better during the second wave of the pandemic than in the first wave.
Domestic GDP is expected to shrink by 5.0-5.5 percent in 2020, they indicated. (MTI)
