Exciting names make vegetables more attractive
The thrilling name makes vegetables more attractive: if they give them an interesting fantasy names like “sizzling beans”, or “dynamite beetroot” or “citrus-brown twisted carrots”, at the canteen a lot more is consumed of them – American researchers state.
It’s a big question how to get people to eat more vegetables. Researchers at the Stanford University have found the answer: an exciting name has to be given to them.
According to the BBC News report, researchers tried the idea on college students at a canteen of a university campus and found that 25 percent more people chose vegetables because of the imaginative names. (MTI)
