The world’s packaging industry gained a lot at interpack
The trade fair met and even exceeded the exhibitor’s expectations: the world’s largest and most important packaging industry trade fair May 4-10, 2023.
Professional visitors from 155 countries came to the 2023 interpack, in many cases with concrete investment plans. The strength and creativity of the packaging industry were demonstrated by the solutions and technologies of 2,807 exhibitors. The army review provided countless ideas, initiatives and tangible business deals that will be realized in the following years.
“With interpack, we were finally able to organize one of the most important army reviews at Messe Düsseldorf. Our trade fair made a spectacular comeback and consolidated its leading role worldwide in building relationships between players in the packaging industry, related technology industries and all user industries. We far exceeded the previously set goals,”
stressed Bernd Jablonowski, Messe Düsseldorf’s commercial director, at the close of the trade fair.
A total of about 143,000 visitors came to Düsseldorf for the interpack trade fair, two-thirds of them from outside Germany. In addition to several European countries, the largest number of visitors came from India, Japan and the United States, and about 75 percent of visitors were senior or middle managers.
