IKEA’s Szkenneld and Vedd service significantly speeds up shopping
IKEA has long strived to offer visitors innovative shopping opportunities. For a more efficient shopping experience, the company launched the Szkenneld és Vedd service in all three Budapest stores in August. Thanks to the innovation, customers can scan the goods in their basket using the IKEA application on their mobile phones, and then pay at the express checkouts after scanning the QR code.
The application enables direct scanning of the products during the purchase, and after that customers can pay by scanning the QR code displayed in the application into the cash register, which can significantly reduce the time spent at the cash register.
The Szkenneld és Vedd service, in addition to speeding up the purchase process, is an extremely user-friendly platform, so the customer can complete the payment with a few simple clicks. The first step is for the visitor to scan the selected products, then place them in the specially designed shopping bag or shopping basket, and then pay without unpacking the products by scanning the QR code received in the IKEA application.
