The largest furniture retailer in the world, the Swedish IKEA is preparing for a future where people will not only have a small wallet but also their living space. The company in spite of the former five- or ten-year plans created a new three-year plan – origo wrote.
According to the company’s study, by 2030 around 60 percent of the world’s population will live in large cities, twice as much as now.
In the near future, IKEA is opening small shops in the city centers to be even closer to its customers. It has more than a dozen showrooms already in London and Paris, but plans to open more. (origo)
