IKEA and Raw Color make everyday life more colorful with the TESAMMANS collection
In collaboration with the Dutch design studio Raw Color, IKEA investigates the relationship of colors and their effects on emotions in homes. The TESAMMANS collection born from the collaboration emphasizes unexpected color palettes and playful combinations. The products will be available in IKEA stores worldwide from April 2024.
“Raw Color’s designers boldly touch color and are well aware of its effects on spaces and our mood. The completed collection reflects this expertise, which is why I am very happy about the collaboration,” said Maria O’Brian, Creative Director of IKEA of Sweden. “We hope this product line will inspire people to express themselves and fill everyday spaces with color and fun”

The role of colors in everyday life is bigger than we think at first. In addition to our mood, it can also brighten up our home, thereby having a positive effect on our well-being. However, finding the right balance is often difficult. The interaction of colors with light, other shades and objects in our home affect the final result one by one, so many people are reluctant to use more colors and prefer neutral, safe shades.
