Most Hungarians travel to domestic destinations this year according to a survey

The majority of Hungarians are planning to travel for 2-3 weeks this year mainly by car to domestic hotels. The trend has not changed. Such trips were the most popular as in last year.

According to a survey sent to the MTI, 65 percent of the respondents would like to travel this year several times. The majority (66 percent) wants to go to a place where they haven’t been, but the place has been on their travel list for a long time. The others would go to a place where they had already gone, but they would go back. 30-39-year-olds would go even further (62 percent) to go where they were, and young people aged 18 to 29 would visit a new place (76 percent).
