IBUSZ fulfills the requirements according to the GVH’s follow-up inspection
IBUSZ successfully complied with the commitments it undertook based on a recent follow-up inspection by the Economic Competition Office (GVH). In the previous procedure of the GVH, it investigated the deceptive price display practice of IBUSZ, and its current investigation shows that the commitments were fulfilled in full. In connection with this matter, GVH draws the attention of consumers to carefully check whether the indicated price includes all costs when booking trips at the end of the year.
The original procedure of the GVH started in 2019, as the advertisements of IBUSZ Utázási Irodák Kft. only indicated the participation fee, without mentioning the total cost of the air travel packages. The procedure ended in the spring of 2021, after the IBUSZ company made a forward-looking commitment, and since then it has continued its efforts to provide more transparent information.
