The Ice Cream of the Year: the opera royal triumphed in 2015
The opera royal ice cream earned the Ice Cream of the Year title in 2015 in the Szent Korona Confectionery in Soltvadkert, where the winner was chosen amongst more than 80 ice-cream on Monday.
The winning ice cream specialty was made by Mányoki Krisztián pastry chef from Páty, who is the owner of the Patisserie Cafe Trevi. The competition was organized for the 18th time by the Hungarian Confectioner Industry Board. This year 41 teams entered 2-2 with ice cream. This year the obligatory taste was apricot, the other ice-cream was a free choice. (MTI)
