Rapeseed prices are expected to be good

The price of rape was full of hope since the end of April this year, as the droughts of spring brought news of a decline in crops. Unfortunately, Hungarian farmers also lost about 10 percent of the potential crops. The rate of price increases seems to compensate for the losses – agrarszektor.hu wrote.

European rape crop in 2018 will be lower, compared to 2017, which will lead to a rise in demand for the seed, which may also raise the prices. The EU28’s production of rapeseed is, in fact, only disappointing, compared to last year’s record, but will exceed the 2016 harvest.
