The European economy will grow this year
The European economy is expected to grow for the seventh consecutive year in 2019, but appropriate and decisive political action is needed to promote investment and to help implement responsible fiscal policies and reforms – the European Commission wrote in the winter package of the European Semester.
In its annual review of the economic and social priorities of the Union, the European Commission has stated that growth is slowing down this year, the challenges facing the European economy persist, but vary considerably from country to country. (MTI)
