The European Commission proposes a new 4 billion euros targeted program to protect consumers and to strengthen SMEs of the European Union after the 2020 EU budget, and to enable European small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to fully benefit from the well-functioning single market – Elzbieta Bienkowska, Commissioner responsible for the Internal Market and Industry, Enterprise and SME policy said in Brussels at a press conference.
