The European Commission has registered a Citizens’ Initiative to Ensure a Quality of Food
The European Commission has decided to register a European Citizens’ Initiative urging the prevention of fraud in food products, the EU Commission said.
According to the information, the Eat original! Uncover your food! initiative is to introduce compulsory declarations of origin for all food products, to protect public health and to ensure consumers’ right to information. (MTI)
