The European Union’s General Affairs Council has adopted a ban on certain non-reusable plastics in response to plastic pollution – the EU Council announced on Tuesday.
According to the information, the single-use plastics directive lays down strict rules for the types of products and packaging that are found among the ten most common waste polluting the European shores. In addition, the European Union introduces specific measures to reduce the use of the most commonly used plastic products. (MTI)
