The EU Parliament's Health Committee would indicate the nutritional value on alcoholic beverages
The European Parliament took a first step last month when it called on the European Commission to draw up legislation requiring such labelling by 2016.
Adopted by 63 of the 68 members of the legislature's Environment, Public Health and Food Safety committee, the resolution also calls for labels that highlight the dangers of alcohol for pregnant women and motorists. (hvg.hu)
