The EU would make the recyclable plastic packaging mandatory
All plastic packagings should be recyclable by 2030 in the European Union, and the use of disposable plastic materials should be reduced according to the strategy currently presented by the European Commission – origo wrote.
At the description of the first European strategy on waste plastics in Brussels it was highlighted: there are strong economic arguments for the different designing, producing, using and recycling products, and if Europe takes the lead in the transition, new investment and innovation opportunities and jobs will be created.
