EU has only negotiated over the compensation of the apple growers
The European has only negotiated over the compensation of the Polish apple growers’ losses due to the Russian embargo on exports. The other fruit and vegetable growers were mentioned only in passing – the Gazeta Wyborcza wrote on Friday.
At the initiative of Marek Sawicki, Polish Minister of Agriculture the interagency committee established this week negotiated in Brussels on Thursday about the expected EU compensation of the Polish farmers after the imposition of the Russian impor ban. Although Poland was the first to hit by Moscow's ban, the discussion was also influenced by the fact that Russia has extended its ban ro all EU countries. (MTI)
