The restaurants are prepared for another delivery period, but the loss of Christmas traffic would be fatal
Some restaurants choose food delivery rather than closing during a period of pandemic restrictions; the changeover will not cause a logistical problem, but the possible outage of the Christmas period would severely affect the sector – the president of the National Association of Tourism and Hospitality Employers (VIMOSZ) told MTI on Wednesday.
Gál Pál Zoltán added that the restaurants had already gained sufficient experience in food delivery in the first wave of the pandemic in the spring, so the tightening effective from Wednesday is not expected to cause any logistical or preparation problems. (MTI)
