The dietary supplement market players reacted favorably to the self-regulation
The dietary supplement market industry welcomed the self-regulation that helps the legal and safe products to gain ground – Ilku Lívia, director of the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association said on Friday.
The director, who is also the leader of the working group against counterfeit medicines of the National Board Against Counterfeiting (HENT) recalled that in May the Pharmaceutical Wholesalers Association (GYNSZ), the Hungarian Chamber of Pharmacists (MGYK), the Hungarian Dietary Supplement Manufacturers and Dealers Association (MÉKISZ) and the Hungarian Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (MAGYOSZ) signed a cooperation agreement to create a system that enables to market sufficient quality and safe food supplements and special formulas.
