Over the past 12 months, prices rose by 4.2 percent
In November 2010, the average monthly consumer price increase was 0.3 percent. Compared to last November, prices grew by 4.2 percent – reports the Central Statistical Office. In the first eleven months prices were an average 4.9 percent higher than in the same period of the last year.
In a month – compared to October 2010 – the food prices rose by 1.1 percent. An increase occurred in the price of oil (4.2 percent), in the price of the seasonal foods – potatoes, fresh vegetables and fruits – (3.9 percent), pasta (3.7 percent), flour (2.6 percent), pastry (2.3 percent), milk (2.0 percent), cheese (1.7 percent), sausages (1.6 percent) and bread (1.4 percent). Clothing product prices increased by higher than the average, by 0.5 percent, while other goods increased by average. Fuel increased by 0.4 percent.
