Retail chains are visited by József Gráf, the Minister of Agriculture. He was able to check personally in the Budaörs Metro store that Metro offers quality products for its customers. The store also supports the sales of Hungarian products and independent food retailers, because it is committed to promoting Hungarian products. Metro introduced a new private label this year under the name CORVINUS. This label is used for traditional Hungarian meat products, dairy products and cheeses made by local manufacturers. Metro Cash & Carry intends to introduce this Hungarian brand in the 28 countries where the international chain is present. Metro Trade Fair to be held in may will be an excellent opportunity to present the brand.
