An international research team found the genetic basis of obesity
An international team of scientists revealed more than 90 new gene areas, which may explain why some people are more prone to obesity.
Researchers examined the gene pool of more than 300 thousand people, and formed the largest genetic map of obesity on this basis. The research was published in the Nature scientific journal – BBC News reports. By searching permanent connection with genes involved in brain processes and found that obesity may based partly on neurological basis. (MTI)
