Tamás Éder painted a dark vision of the future of the food industry
Tamás Éder, director of corporate relations and communications at Bonafarm Zrt., explained in an interview with the Agricultural Sector that favorable balance sheet results are not expected for food industry companies in 2023. According to the specialist, the sector’s difficulties so far show no signs of recovery, and without an improvement in the market situation, difficult times await food industry enterprises.
The Bonafarm Group is an agricultural and food industry company group that produces the agricultural raw materials necessary for the production of its products either by itself or with the help of cooperating partners. The group is active in a number of areas, including arable crop production, animal husbandry, dairy processing and winemaking.
During the interview, Tamás Éder said that the Bonafarm Group wants to realize their development ideas set in recent years, for example the creation of a new chicken slaughterhouse in Szentes and the construction of a new salami factory in Szeged. In addition, the company is constantly developing its planning and market forecasting systems in order to adapt to the changing economic environment.
