Synchronization with EK will also be an available function in eGN this year
The specialists of Nébih are currently working on two major developments in the electronic management diary system (eGN), which will enable the implementation of regular data connection and synchronization with the 2024 Unified Application (EC), as well as the transition to the calendar year.

Nébih informs farmers that the possibility of synchronization with the EC will be available this year as well. It is a forward-looking change that in the future, not only a one-time data upload will take place, but also a scheduled monitoring of the changes recorded in the EC in the eGN. It is expected that it will be possible to upload the signs recorded in the EC to eGN this year in the autumn, the date of which the office will inform the farmers.
With the mandatory synchronization for everyone, the data in the eGN and the information provided on the EC interface of the Hungarian State Treasury will be harmonized
Thanks to this operation, the size of the area, the location data, as well as the legal titles assumed for this year and the uses will also match in the two databases. This change affects both the so-called inherited (at the moment it can be modified to a very limited extent), as well as the boards that were copied between years and added as new production sites. What is new is that, in the case of already recorded operations, the area affected by the operation can be automatically adjusted as a group by the synchronization function to the size synchronized with the EK table, if the area affected by the operation is the entire area of the table. This development also contributes to ensuring that the information submitted on the EK interface completely matches the data stored in the eGN.
In addition to the synchronization, the transition to the calendar year is also being prepared
Thanks to the development, farmers do not have to open the next year’s diary this year. However, their necessary task is that after harvesting, they must include the utilization of next year’s main crop in the 2024 diary. (For this, they must also record the soil preparation work carried out this year.) It is extremely important to indicate that it is next year’s crop. Thanks to the new function currently under development, the system will automatically transfer the uses (cultures) designated for the next year to the 2025 diary, which will be opened in January. The management of second sowings spanning the calendar year will also work according to this principle. In addition to the major improvements affecting the system, thanks to the specialists, it is also possible to modify the utilizations: thus, the utilizations can be changed up to the recording of the sowing operation.
