Cooperation can’t be forced
The Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) has organised a discussion for food processing enterprises in Hajdúböszörmény, In his keynote speech Balázs Győrffy, president of the chamber told: the HUF 300-billion funding that is available to the sector gives hope that food processing will be able to make progress. He added that the younger generation is a little more willing to cooperate in the sector. NAK vice president Tamás Éder explained that today retailers lead the concentrated model in Hungary. Integration can’t be strengthened by making it compulsory: it is very important for all parties to be mutually aware of its benefits. Zoltán Mikó, the chairman of NAK’s Court of Arbitration informed participants about the integration’s legal background. //
