Chocolate-industry is not at all touched by the crisis
In spite of the deplorable economic conditions, chocolate-factories seem to profit from the crisis.
Chocolate-manufacturers have managed to produce a 7 percent increase of yield in Germany, while American sales reports are speaking of an 80% expansion in sales records. Seems like people all over the world are taking comfort in buying candies, as it is not only the chocolate-industry that is experiencing a sudden growth, but cakes and snacks are also selling amazingly well at the moment. According to experts, the reason behind this unexpected growth is that people are travelling and going out less frequently due to the crisis, so they get to spend more money on candies and sweets.
