The earlier restrictions on electronic cigarettes were terminated in Italy. You can smoke e-cigarettes anywhere in Italy, even in places where tradtional cigarettes cannot be smoked.

With the exception of schools, one can smoke e-cigarettes in all closed and open spaces: in offices, restaurants, cinemas, public transportation, bus stops and at playgrounds as well. (Sárközy Júlia, MTI)
