The imagos of Drosophila suzukii were stuck on cars
The Government Office’s Plant and Soil Conservation Directorate draws attention that a new pest has occered in the Sopron wine region, because the spotted wing Drosophila was found in one of the traps.
On the basis of the announcement of the winegrowers, the staff of the Board of Directors found the Drosophila suzukii pest in traps in Balf and Fertőrákos on 19 November 2014. The small insect that is belonging to the fruit flies family has a Far Eastern origin. A hard, cold winter can significantly destroy the wintering imagos. (by our colleague)
