Green Cloud’s commercial director arrives from Auchan

Green Cloud, a leader in the market for sustainable corporate energy solutions, has appointed a new Commercial Director. The position is held by Ildikó Varga-Futó, who previously managed the food multi ESG area after various positions at Auchan Hungary.

Ildikó Varga-Futó began her career in the energy sector (Budapest Power Plant Zrt, GDF SUEZ) in the areas of strategy and communication. She continued her career at Auchan Hungary in 2018, where she led various areas for nearly 7 years. First, she managed CSR and corporate communication, and later the ESG and strategy directorate. Under her leadership, green aspects and sustainability were brought to a strategic level in the company’s operations at the international food chain with nationwide coverage.

Green Cloud is one of the most dynamically developing companies in Hungary, providing sustainable energy solutions for large enterprises, which specifically helps business (B2B) partners in the transition to the use of green energy. In December this year, the company will switch on its second solar power plant in Hungary, which will help the decarbonization of the domestic corporate sector on a market basis, in the form of a PPA construction.
