Thanks to another support from Auchan, the Hungarian Red Cross continues to distribute bread and milk
In the crisis situation caused by the coronavirus pandemic last spring, the countries where the company is present were able to seek emergency assistance from the Auchan International Foundation. The Auchan Foundation for Youth has distributed 324,391 euros to fourteen projects in seven countries to help 30,000 children or young people in need.
In Hungary, the Hungarian Red Cross Children’s Mouth and Budapest Catering Program received 8.7 million forints, of which families in need in Borsod with several children were supported several times a week with fresh bread and milk. Thanks to the Auchan Foundation, food distribution among families in need was able to continue this year as well.
