Better year than the average
Winemakers predict a better vintage than the average year, based on the quantity and quality of grapes harvested so far. Last year’s 7.4 ton/hectare average grape yield is likely to be exceeded by a ton, which means that 3-3.5 million hectolitres of wine may end up in cellars.
