After the price stop, Auchan introduced a quantity limit
HVG noticed that Auchan almost immediately introduced a quantity restriction on products that were removed from the price cap on August 1.
We can buy
2 kg of granulated sugar per day,
5 kg of BL55 flour per day,
3 kg of chicken breast per day,
5 kg of home-made pork leg, chicken back, chicken back, chicken back,
12 kg of chicken wing tips,
6 liters of 2.8 percent UHT milk,
cooking oil varies per package, 3×1 or 2×2 or 1×3 or 1×5 liters
in a single day at Auchan.
Content updated with Auchan’s statement:
Quantitative restrictions on former price-stopped foods are not the only thing at Auchan, other large food chains are doing the same. With the end of the price cap, the quantity limitation was not automatically eliminated for us, as it was for our competitors, because we want these affordable basic products to remain available to everyone at all times.
