Wine proved to be a better investment than gold
Perhaps only a few would thought that wine was one of the best investment of the recent years, because with the purchasing of the quality – mainly French – wines one could reach greater profits than with bonds, stocks, or even with gold .
The wine indexes compiled of mostly Bordeaux-quality wines, over the past five years showed an annual average of 20 percent increase. Now the wine is not only a luxury consumer good, it increasingly serves as an investment tool. In London, a Wine Stock Exchange was created and one the market, one could find a number of wine investment funds – reports portfolio.hu.
