Most mothers are optimistic about a better future for their daughters
All over the world, women see better opportunities ahead of them than their mothers did when they were young. These days it is women who make the majority of shopping decisions and they are in a better position at both the workplace and in politics – reveals a Nielsen survey, conducted in 21 countries on five continents. In developed countries 40 percent of women think (developing countries: 81 percent) that their daughters will have more stable financial conditions. 54 percent forecast a higher level of education for them (developing countries: 83 percent) and 74 percent hope that their daughters will have better access to modern technology.
