Healthy nutrition would cost a lot for the Brazilian economy
The removal of harmful eating habits in Britain about 70 thousand people may be saved annually, from heart diseases and premature death caused by cancer caused by malnutrition. The health care system, could save 20 million pounds (6.5 billion HUF) per year.
By contrast, Brazil has very low rates of diseases resulting from poor dietary habits, so Brazilians would benefit just very minor from the alteration of the diet, but their economy would suffer the innovations. It would cost the Brazilian economy 815 million USD (164 billion HUF) – reports Index.
