The Apple Marketing Board is concerned about the low purchase prices
The Apple Marketing Board is concerned about the low purchase prices. The organization's presidency drew attention on Thursday that if prices do not rise substantially in the coming years, production may fall.
According to the document, the processing plants pay only a net 17 HUF per kilo for industrial apples, while the price of eating apples ranges 65 and 85 HUF, although in the past seven years, the average price of juice apple was 25 HUF. (MTI)
