GfK Hungária Shopping Monitor 2011–2012 shows that shopper expectations about stores change both per demographic group and with time.
For many years customers have been mentioning product quality and freshness, price level and product selection as the most important aspects of choosing a store. But when they are asked to list the main advantages of the store they most frequently visit, there is no single chain about which good quality is mentioned the most often from the above mentioned three features – as a new aspect the nearness of the store is mentioned.
