The asset of agricultural foreign trade decreased
The value of exports of agricultural and food industry products was 9,904 million euros, and the value of imports was 7,379 million euros in the first three quarters of 2023. The agricultural foreign trade asset was 2,525 million euros, 450 million euros less than in the first three quarters of 2022.
The export value of agricultural and food industry products increased by 0.4 percent and the import value by 7.1 percent in the first nine months of 2023, the balance worsened by 15.1 percent compared to the value of the first three quarters of 2022. The export volume of agricultural and food industry products fell by 6 percent and the import volume by 6.6 percent in the first nine months of 2023. National economic exports increased by 7.2 percent, imports decreased by 5.2 percent. The share of agricultural and food industry products in the total export value of the national economy in the first three quarters of 2023 was 8.8 percent, and 7 percent of the import value.
