Cafeteria is still worth despite the tax increase
Several changes were made in the cafeteria, since the beginning of 2012. The employers’ has burden increased to 31 percent, from the former 19 percent, while the one-year limit also enered into force in a value of 500 thousand forints.
According to the expert of PwC, however, this does not constitute a restriction at the majority of the companies since the average annual cafeteria benefits are much lower than the ceiling. The experts believe that cafeteria benefits worth to the employer even though the tax was increased – was said at today’s press conference of the OTP Pension Fund – reports portfolio.hu.
