AccorHotels Adds EUR22 Billion to GDP
According to AccorHotels’ first socio-economic footprint study, the company sustains around 880,000 jobs internationally and contributes EUR22 billion to the global GDP, equivalent to the input of a country like Cyprus.
Through its almost 1,500 hotels and 34,000 people working for AccorHotels brands in France, the group is creating or maintaining more than 130,000 jobs worldwide.
Moreover, every EUR1 in revenue that the hotelier generates in the country, it contributes EUR1.52 to the national GDP, hence, France alone represents over a quarter of the hotelier's contribution to the worldwide figure.
