Autumn wine fair in Auchan stores
Once again Auchan organised a wine fair and tasting event in October, the goal of which is to promote quality wines. For three weeks 1,100 types of wine, champagne and sparkling wine – including more than 100 products selected in the National Wine Excellence Programme – were offered in Auchan stores, nearly half of them at reduced prices. Minister of Agriculture Dr Sándor Fazekas and Auchan Hungary CEO Dominique Ducoux opened the wine fair. The retailer’s experience is that sales of wines from famous Hungarian wineries and high-quality products are growing. Eger and Villány are the leading regions, but wines from the Szekszárd and Lake Balaton regions are coming up. //
