Automation in logistics: What will the future bring?
According to a global survey by Zebra, 20% of logistics companies have already started or are planning to start using robotics/automation in their warehouses. Online orders grew by 15-20% in the last few years, so demand increased for modern, automated warehouses. 27% of decision-makers at manufacturing, shipping, logistics and other departments plan going fully automatic by 2024. Pál Bérces, owner of the QLM Group: “One thing is sure, anyone who decides to automate warehouse processes today, gains considerable competitive advantage over others who will only do it later.”
