A breakthrough in mobile internet use: half of the Hungarian Internet users are holding the World Wide Web in their pockets
Half of the adult netizens in Hungary have smart phones with mobile internet. Four-tenth of them browse social networking sites daily, while a third of them inform about the coming weather. The latest research of eNET – Telekom’s “Report on the Internet Economy” research series focused on the impact of the mobile Internet and smartphone use on our lives.
According to the survey carried out in January 2015, 62 percent of the Hungarian adult Internet users were using smartphones and 51percent had mobile Internet in January. In the past one and half year, the number of smartphone users increased by 15 percent within the Internet users.
