Atradius: one-third of the bills are paid late worldwide
Businesses pay 30 percent of their bills late and in case of 12 percent the delay may be longer than two months – shows the most recent survey of Atradius sent to MTI on Wednesday. The situation is the worst in Greek, while in Hungary datas are better than theaverage in many areas.
For the Payment Habits Barometer of Atradius, datas were collected from 5,399 companies of 27 countries all over the world. The survey shows that the most critical situation occurs in the southern European countries. 54 percent of the Greek bills are paid with more than a month delay. In Italy and Spain the same data is 43 and 39 percent – reports MTI.
