Chilled candy bars belong to the group of food products with the biggest turnover: its annual HUF 24 billion market it is the 12th biggest among the 90 measured by Nielsen. In the December 2009-May 2010 period value sales contracted by 4 percent. Only the 401-2,500 m² retail channels managed to improve sales, by 3 percent. Túró Rudi’s dominance continues in the category: its value share was 66 percent in the examined period.
