Average yield is expected in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county
Average yields are expected in autumn sowing crops, which are the largest part of the sowing area, in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county – the county president of the National Agricultural Chamber (NAK) announced in Szolnok on Tuesday.
Hubai Imre Csaba, president of the NAK Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County Organization said at a press conference before the County Harvest Coordination Committee meeting that autumn cultures, with spring barley and oats, occupy about 159,000 hectares. He added that the farmers and farming organizations of the county have to harvest 700,000 tons of grain crops and deliver them to the warehouses. (MTI)
